Lynnwood elopement / intimate wedding photographer & narrative designer.
The most honest illustration of how you feel, see & love each other.
This is not “wedding photography.”
This is where the memories you’ve forged together find the light through the dark.
This is where you create memories you wish to follow you for years to come—whether it’s a tapestry of your home, a few sacred hours where you wander the city, your backyard, or an escape into a corner of the world you can truly call yours.
This is where you document an immortalized reflection of you, through photography and written storytelling that lives through every hour, every second, and every day—long after you leave this earth.
If this makes your blood sing…
This is where you’re meant to be.
“Taylor is absolutely phenomenal to work with! I did an engagement photo session with her and had a fantastic experience. During the days/weeks leading up to the session, she made sure to check in with me to ensure that she could achieve what we had envisioned for the shoot. She made sure that we felt comfortable and made it an overall fun experience for my fiancé and me. I've worked with other photographers in the past who took weeks/months to deliver the photos. However, Taylor worked her magic and was able to send me the finished gallery in a matter of days! I am so happy with the way they turned out and cannot recommend her enough!”
— Audrey & Adam
“Taylor is an absolute delight to work with! She took engagement photos of my now-wife and I in May of 2023, and they are some of our all-time favorite photos. Taylor is very easygoing, and did a great job of both allowing us to feel very comfortable & natural during the shoot.”
— Austin & Caroline
HEY, I’M TAYLOR
Your new photographer. Introvert. Narrative designer. Writer. Amateur polaroid-er. Multi-hyphenate. Story obsessor. Cinephile.
I’m on a mission to carve something entirely new for eloping creative couples:
An experience that combines the art of photography with the narrative power of writing to transform your most sacred moments into memories.
I love and obsess over many facets of human storytelling, from the beautiful artistry of cinema, to the meticulous exploration of sculpture, to the emotional impact of literature.
Most of all, i’m drawn to the quiet moments only you and your partner share:
The small corner of your living room while the television flickers on and off with your favorite film. The stacks of books lining your shelves. The way you look at each other that doesn’t need an audience to validate its natural, untouchable beauty. The music blaring in the courthouse with a song that reminds you of her, of him, of each other.
Your story is the canvas.
Your relationship, the paint.
If that sounds beautiful to you…
You’re going to love working with me.
THE EXPERIENCE
If you love what you see, inquire to receive my Experience Guide and the opportunity to schedule a quick consultation call. I’ll walk you through any questions you have, the vision of your day, and break the ice.
I. SAY HELLO
Once we move forward, we’ll have a separate 45-minute Narrative Call to design your love story around the vision of your elopement or intimate wedding. This is where the marriage of imagery and written storytelling begins.
II. NARRATIVE CALL
If your elopement or intimate wedding is the film, your engagement session is the prologue. These sessions are designed around what makes you feel most at home—and of course, your most creative.
III. ENGAGEMENT STORY
I approach elopements and intimate weddings with a cinematic feel that bridges creative and documentarian. I see the beginning, the middle, and the end, as if the day unfolds like a private film revolving solely around you.
IV. YOUR DAY ARRIVES
Where you rest, revel in your post-celebration romance, and wait while I work on your gallery. It will take about 5-6 weeks to receive your private online gallery, and an additional 1-2 weeks to put together your Storybook.
V. THE CURATION PERIOD
The wait is over. You receive your photographs, your custom Elopement / Intimate Wedding Storybook, and additional little gifts I like to custom-prepare for all of my couples… because you are one of a kind.

YOUR QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED
-
I serve the state of Washington, but I personally favor locations that are meaningful, intimate, and small-scale.
I mainly serve areas in Woodinville, Redmond, Bellevue, and Snohomish.
If you’re outside of Washington State or somewhere a little farther, let me know in the inquiry form.
I’d love to talk about it.
-
The short answer:
That’s what photography and writing mean to me. A marriage of who we are while we’re still alive, to be cherished and preserved long after our souls drift off into the universe.
The longer answer…
Because I often think about what lingers long after we’re gone. I find so much beauty and happiness in the melancholy.
The sad. The happy. The emotional. The pain. The tears, and the laughter. The words we’re often afraid to say and wish we did when we had the chance.
It’s all sacred to me.
I treasure the feeling of someone’s eyes on you. I value the conversations experienced in passing, with strangers and those in love. I believe there is nothing more important to remember than the seconds we take for granted.
This is a huge influence on my work. It took years to find it, but yes, while it might feel “morbid” to some, my intention is to reveal the moments that feel odd today and timeless tomorrow.
If that resonates with you, I have a question for you:
Why haven’t we grabbed a coffee yet?

Narrative design is a term that originated in the video game industry, meant to create interactive experiences within the creation itself.
I’m using this philosophy to translate love stories into custom storybooks that tie your origins, your background, and your relationship to the photographs we take together.
Because while I do believe photographs often don’t “need” words to supplement…
I think there’s profound beauty in showcasing your story with both.
-
I focus on elopements and intimate weddings only because those are the celebrations, couples, and types of people I serve best. When I relate to my couples, it creates much more meaningful work compared to celebrations I simply can’t invest all of my energy into.
If you want a photographer for your large wedding, that’s wonderful, and I’m more than happy to refer you to someone else who can bring your vision to life.
-
Short answer: both.
I’m a very minimal photographer by nature. I photograph every celebration with digital and one roll black and white film at the very least, and will often bring other point-and-shoot film cameras to add variety and play around with the setting.
You can expect to see me with one digital camera, one point-and-shoot film camera, and—if the gods allow—my Polaroid camera to add candid artistry to your day.
-
What doesn’t? In all seriousness, I’m deeply inspired by classic cinema, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, music from masters like Vivaldi, film scores, and photography that has nothing to do with weddings.
I like venturing outside of my field to find inspiration.
If I’m being honest with you—the only thing scarier to me than never pursuing my ideas, is to pursue ideas that are just like everyone else’s.
-
Hard to pick, but if I had to…
Tàr. A remarkable film I’m comfortable calling my favorite. It follows the story of a world-renowned conductor who falls into a spiral of her own choosing. I recommend it to everyone.
The Brutalist. An extraordinary, beautiful exploration of the American Dream, architecture, and the mind of a gifted artist facing severe trauma and identity.
Portrait of a Lady on Fire. A raw, emotionally powerful French film that explores two women—a painter, and her subject—who fall for one another while fighting off the inevitable.
Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss. Probably the most emotionally impactful sculpture I’ve ever seen in person. The story, the love, and the underlying tragedy are all molded into marble with such meticulous detail that it’s unbelievable it was crafted by human hands.
The Thinker, The Kiss, and The Gates of Hell by Auguste Rodin. While I’m drawn to the romance of Cupid and Psyche in the sculpture I talked about above, the darkness, melancholy, and drama found within Rodin’s work is nothing short of brilliant—and forever inspiring.
P.S. Once we get on a call, I’ll be asking you about your favorite pieces of art, so be prepared ;)

Look, there are countless photographers for small weddings and elopeemnts who are outstanding with their craft. You can find a dozen of them in the Seattle area alone.
But if you’re looking for the only experience that combines combines the art of photography with intentional narrative design…
This is a better option for you.
Your relationship doesn't need a dramatic backdrop.
It needs documentation in the spaces where you actually exist together.
I’m a writer first, and photographer second—and I believe this serves the right couples the way they deserve. That is the difference.
