Where your deeply purposeful & artfully honest intimate elopement shifts from experience to memory.
Working with me as your writer and elopement photographer is like bantering with a documentary film director who won’t accept anything less than you as you are—raw, real, and unapologetically yourself.
This is where the memories you’ve forged together find the light through the dark.
This is where you create a story you wish to follow you for years to come—whether it’s a tapestry of your home, a few sacred hours where you wander the city, an evening together in your private backyard, the secluded beauty of an AirBNB you’ve been dying to explore, or an escape into a corner of the world you can truly call yours.
This is where we create an immortalized reflection of you, through photojournalistic storytelling that lives through every hour, every second, and every day—long after you leave this earth.
If this makes your blood sing—let’s talk.
My style is designed to reflect your soul, your story & what matters most to you.
In some ways, it’s a contradiction.
How I photograph and write is fueled through the honesty you bring forward on the day of your elopement. Expect a mixture of documentarian and creatively curated. I’ll act as a witness to the most important commitment of your life, woven through imagery and words. What you express is what I will illustrate, whether it’s a canvas of happiness, love, sadness, joy, grief, or all multifaceted elements of you.
Intimate elopement photography & writing collections—for the curious, the creative & the romantic.

I serve the state of Washington, but I personally favor locations that are meaningful, intimate, and small-scale.
I mainly serve areas in Lynnwood, Woodinville, Redmond, Bellevue, and Snohomish.
If you’re outside of Washington State or somewhere a little farther, let me know in the inquiry form, so we can figure out a plan together.

Short answer: absolutely.
I’ll show up to your wedding with one digital camera, and multiple film cameras to add texture and multiple narrative concepts to your story.
When it comes to film, expect a variety of 35mm, 120mm, and point-and-shoot coverage.
There’s a timeless magic to film that I can’t describe, and it’s the most authentic way to add a cinematic feel to your memories.
-
I focus on elopements only because those are the celebrations, couples, and types of people I serve best. When I relate to my couples, it creates much more meaningful work compared to celebrations I simply can’t invest all of my energy into.
If you want a photographer for your large wedding, that’s wonderful, and I’m more than happy to refer you to someone else who can bring your vision to life.

The short answer:
That’s what photography and writing mean to me. A marriage of who we are while we’re still alive, to be cherished and preserved long after our souls drift off into the universe.
The longer answer…
Because I often think about what lingers long after we’re gone. I find so much beauty and happiness in the melancholy.
The sad. The happy. The emotional. The pain. The tears, and the laughter. The words we’re often afraid to say and wish we did when we had the chance.
It’s all sacred to me.
I treasure the feeling of someone’s eyes on you. I value the conversations experienced in passing, with strangers and those in love. I believe there is nothing more important to remember than the seconds we take for granted.
This is a huge influence on my work. It took years to find it, but yes, while it might feel “morbid” to some, my intention is to reveal the moments that feel odd today and timeless tomorrow.
If that resonates with you, I have a question for you:
Why haven’t we grabbed a coffee yet?
-
I’m a writer, first.
My love of the written word helps me translate love stories into custom storybooks that tie your origins, your background, and your relationship to the photographs we take together.
Because while I do believe photographs often don’t “need” words to supplement…
I think there’s profound beauty in showcasing your story with both.
-
Look, there are countless photographers for intimate weddings and elopements who are outstanding with their craft. You can find a dozen of them in the Seattle area alone.
But if you’re looking for the only experience that combines combines the art of photography with intentional narrative design…
This is a better option for you.
Your relationship doesn't need a dramatic backdrop.
It needs documentation in the spaces where you actually exist together.
I’m a writer first, and photographer second—and I believe this serves the right couples the way they deserve. That is the difference.
-
What doesn’t? In all seriousness, I’m deeply inspired by classic cinema, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, music from masters like Vivaldi, film scores, and photography that has nothing to do with weddings.
I like venturing outside of my field to find inspiration.
If I’m being honest with you—the only thing scarier to me than never pursuing my ideas, is to pursue ideas that are just like everyone else’s.

Hard to pick, but if I had to…
Tàr. A remarkable film I’m comfortable calling my favorite. It follows the story of a world-renowned conductor who falls into a spiral of her own choosing. I recommend it to everyone.
The Brutalist. An extraordinary, beautiful exploration of the American Dream, architecture, and the mind of a gifted artist facing severe trauma and identity.
Portrait of a Lady on Fire. A raw, emotionally powerful French film that explores two women—a painter, and her subject—who fall for one another while fighting off the inevitable.
Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss. Probably the most emotionally impactful sculpture I’ve ever seen in person. The story, the love, and the underlying tragedy are all molded into marble with such meticulous detail that it’s unbelievable it was crafted by human hands.
The Thinker, The Kiss, and The Gates of Hell by Auguste Rodin. While I’m drawn to the romance of Cupid and Psyche in the sculpture I talked about above, the darkness, melancholy, and drama found within Rodin’s work is nothing short of brilliant—and forever inspiring.
P.S. Once we get on a call, I’ll be asking you about your favorite pieces of art, so be prepared ;)
